is on how to promote self-generativity and self-change in
self and others, rather than one person “doing
something” to another.

Who
should attend?
Trance
Camp is open to anyone seriously interested in generative
personal change and altered states of
consciousness.
This
is not a workshop for receiving personal therapy or for
learning to do therapy with other; it is an experiential
workshop for learning how to experience and use trance
states.
Therefore
anyone and everyone should attend Trance Camp.
It will be especially interesting and valuable for NLP
Practitioners, Hypnotherapists, Health Care Professionals,
Coaches, Therapists, Teachers and anyone interested in using

What
is Trance Camp?
You
can choose between a 6 or 12 day trance journey. During the
workshop, you will be lead through a number of hypnotic trances as a
group, in pairs, trios and self-paced work.
Through the days of Trance Camp, you will learn skills for cultivating
inner states for the purposes of improved health, happiness, healing and
helpfulness for yourself and others.
Trance Camp is devoted to the
theme of Joseph Campbell's The Hero's Journey. This is a beautiful
metaphor for how to connect through one's deepest self and into the world
to live a deeply meaningful life. Week 1 of Trance Camp is about finding
that inner connection, Week 2 is about using that connection to transform
one's reality.
Trance
Camp is an experiential workshop for those
interested in exploring trance and its relevance to creativity and change.

Generative
Trance - Developing transformational states of consciousness
This
6-day seminar is an intense experiential examination of how to
cultivate and maintain a generative trance state in self and others.

regular “ego consciousness,” one capable of transformation,
healing, and creating radically new outcomes in one’s life.

Many
techniques for developing generative trance
-
How
to make transformational changes while in generative trance

How
to establish a deep connection with the creative unconscious

use generative trance to create experiences and outcomes you
never imagined or believed possible
-
The
Ericksonian attitude of approaching each day and challenge as a
great opportunity for new learning

2: Monday, 26 April to Saturday, 1 May 2010
Utilisation
of Generative Trance
This
advanced course, open to graduates of the first week or equivalent
work with Dr. Gilligan, deeply explores the many possibilities of
working within trance for generative change. The workshop explores
generative trance as a model for the construction and
re-organization of psychological realities (that is, one’s
identity and consciousness), especially emphasizing how trance
phenomena represent amplified versions of the basic dimensions of
psychological reality—e.g. time, space, body identity, memory, the
future, and perception. This allows us to deeply explore how trance
work can cultivate a Generative Self capable of transformation,
healing, and creating new realities You will learn how to develop
basic hypnotic phenomena such as age regression and age progression;
time distortion; dissociation; deep trance identification (exploring
other identities in trance); and special communication techniques
with the unconscious. These skills and practices will allow you to
realize mastery of psychological realities, thereby enabling the
creation and living of a deeply intentional and generative life.
Week
2 includes:
-
How
'reality' and 'identity' are 'trance states' created,
maintained, and transformed via trance phenomena
-
How
to use trance phenomena to create a Generative Self of higher
consciousness capable of going beyond previous limits,
obstacles, beliefs and negative events
-
How
to transform an experience by shifting the submodalities of
natural trance phenomena
-
Generative
trance as a quantum field that opens possibilities beyond ordinary
limits
-
What
to do once generative trance has been established
-
Integrating
the conscious and unconscious minds into a 'Generative Self'
-
How
the Generative Self can heal wounds, improve competencies,
develop deep intimacies and generate transpersonal experiences.
